After her parents divorced, Agitha, her mother, and her pet cat, Sigrid, move across the country. On top of coping with her parents, the loss of her former friend group, navigating a new school, and simply trying to develop a routine again, Sigrid suddenly runs away… down into the forgotten city located right underneath their new house! Agitha bravely ventures off into the dark to save her beloved friend. Along the way, she encounters monstrous, bug-like creatures, ancient ruins, and a mysterious, soft-spoken boy, Kane.
